here I go...

I always tell my husband "don't give me any ideas!" He knows very well by now that if I get an idea in my head, I can't help but follow it through...no matter the amount of crazy involved. An adults-only birthday party fit for a 9 year old--no problem! A custom shirt for the Cubs in the world series--I'll get right on that!  

I'll post creations I've made to this site and to my Facebook page and to my Instagram page, @mygrandideas. Feel free to contact me if you see something you like. If you want to create something completely unique to you, I'd be happy to work with you to come up with something you'll absolutely love.  I seem to do mostly shirts, but I'm happy to try almost any type of craft idea. And I promise to be honest--if I don't feel I can do your project justice, I'll let you know. I want to make good quality items and I won't attempt something I don't feel I can confidently carry through.

chic movie decor

I recently had to decorate a theater room in a cabin.  I wanted the decor to evoke movies but didn't want the classic, cheesy movie posters that you usually see in a cabin theater room.  I wanted to do something classic and simple; something with a little bit of bling (hence the silver and gold); something that doesn't necessarily scream a certain movie but that makes you think just a bit about what the movie could be.  I also wanted a simple silhouette design.  Here's what I came up with.  And I could do the same for you!  Name the movie, I'll design the poster.

It seems like everyone has a pop up canopy tent these days.  How great would it be to have it personalized for your team?  Or maybe have it say "{your child's name here}'s personal fan club!"  Whatever you choose, I can personalize it for you.

When looking at these photos I feel I need to provide a disclaimer: I really can take nice pictures!  I've spent a ton of money on a great camera and several lenses not to mention hours upon hours of study, research, practice and actual photoshoots.  But sometimes you just want to snap a pictures with your phone and move on with life.  These are exhibit A of that life motto.  😂

A local coach wanted some end-of-season gifts for her seniors.  We personalized camping chairs with the mascot of the college they'll be attending in the fall.
